This model is already thriving in other parts of New Zealand. On 26 September, it comes to Ponsonby for the very first time, presented by the team behind Simple Pleasures NZ, who have lovingly built the market they always wished existed.

Claim your free ticket
Entry is free, but tickets are “sold” through Humanitix. That keeps the room properly R18 and means you know exactly the kind of space you're walking into.

Watch the line-up drop
We reveal vendors one by one in the lead-up, with the usual tomfoolery along the way. Once the line-up is locked, every ticket holder gets the full vendor directory by email, so you can plan your afternoon before you arrive.

Arrive and explore
Doors open at 2 pm and close at 5 pm. Three unhurried hours to browse, ask, and find something worth taking home.
Due to the nature of what’s on offer at the market, no under-18s will be admitted.

Allow a little extra time for parking, which can be tighter in Ponsonby than Grey Lynn. Street parking is free in the area and there is a low cost city council carpark at 2 Pompallier Terrace within walking distance.
